Our extensive menu offers a wide range of delicacies of local or western, light or substantial, lunch of dinner, combining the best of tradition and innovation in cuisine to ensure diners enjoy a delightful dining experience with us.
Built on the site of the Fu family home where the original classic wooden house stood for nearly a century, the café takes the name and year it was built – Sunnydale 1928. The décor blends the old with the new, from its original classic windows and decorative panels which display the history of the original house, to its modern dining space flooded with light and space to provide an inviting atmosphere for our diners to unwind, recharge and relax.
Prime Grade Australian grain fed striploin crusted with a blend of spices and black pepper, served with mashed potato and side mesclun salad.
Crispy breaded buttery kingfish served with in house tartar sauce, mesclun salad and lemon wedge.
Roasted whole chicken thigh marinated and smothered in our own blend of spice. Served with coconut rice, pickled cucumber, sambal merah and keropok.
Flavourful jumbo prawns wok fried in intense heat with kueh tiaw, pickled radish, cabbage and bean sprouts.
Prawn and coconut milk-based gravy served with rice noodles, thick chicken slices, plump tiger prawns and egg slithers.
