Kinabalu Non-Associated Gas (KNNAG) Platform is a natural gas and condensate production facility operated by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bdn and is located at 55km West Northwest of Labuan Offshore Sabah. CHEMSAIN was appointed to perform chemical exposure monitoring to assess workers’ exposure to airborne contaminant as recommended in the Health Risk Assessment (HRA) report.

The findings from the monitoring determine the compliance of the exposure level with the Permissible Exposure Limit (USECHH Regulations 2000) and the adequacy of the existing control measures. Necessary actions for improvement were recommended to further reduce the risk of exposure.

CHEMSAIN has successfully conducted the monitoring and the report has been presented to the Department of Safety and Health (DOSH) Malaysia.
