Chemsain believes in supporting worthy causes. For this Run, Chemsain sponsored 50 staff to participate as part of the company’s CSR initiative to support this fundraising event. With participation from the Army as well, this Run was held on 14 October 2018 at MBKS Kuching. There were 2 categories of distances : 3km for Family Fun Run and 10km for Army Obstacle Challenge.

Being held for its third consecutive year, this OCBC-Rotary Run was a collaboration between the Rotary Club of Kuching and OCBC Bank Kuching Branch. The main objective of this Run was to raise funds for community service projects of the Club which included:

• KAS-Rotary-NKF Dialysis Centre
• Setting up another Dialysis Centre at Kota Samarahan
• Medical outreach to the remotest parts of Sarawak involving volunteer doctors, dentists, nurses and other medical professionals
• Provide water treatment and distribution systems to rural communities which depend on untreated water from rivers / streams
